The links to the left are some examples of Redwood trees we have to offer. Please note that these particular trees may not be for sale as our inventory of trees is constantly changing. We cut all of the big roots off and plant them in a sandy mix. They develop great roots in a short amount of time. Also old branches are cut off and new ones are developed from the growth that sprouts on the trunk. they are very vigorous trees and you can cultivate a nice bonsai in a few years. All trees are collected and since no two are alike they are priced individually. Below is a general price guide.
$45-$60 - Shohin with bases up to three inches in diameter. Nice old bark. $60-$90 - Shohin and a little larger with four to six inch bases in diameter. Nice old bark. $90-$125 - Four to six inch bases with one to one and a half inch trunks and eighteen to twenty-four inches tall. $125-$200 - Six to eight inch bases. Clumps with one inch trunks. Double and triple trunks up to one and a half inches. Single trunks up to two inches. $175-$225 - Six to eight inch bases, single trunks up to three and a half inches. $225-$400 - Eight to twelve inch bases. Single and double trunks up to four inches and clumps with trunks up to a couple of inches. Inquire - Large material, up to twenty inch bases.
